T3 survey shows firm’s market share growth as DPL member AUM surpasses $1T
LOUISVILLE, KY, Feb. 21, 2024 — DPL Financial Partners, the leading platform for commission-free annuities, today announced that it topped the 2024 T3/Inside Information Advisor Software Survey list of firms with the largest share of the advisor life insurance and annuity market. The comprehensive survey garnered responses from 2,917 financial advisors from primarily fee-only and dually-registered firms across all sizes in the marketplace.
For the third time in four years, the survey showed DPL was the dominant provider of commission-free insurance products and technology to advisors. The firm’s market share increased from 5.32% in last year’s survey to 6.51% this year, a 20% increase year-over-year. Notably, the authors said DPL was the only firm that grew its market share, while “the competition saw incremental market share retreats.”
The survey also suggests DPL is poised to continue its dominance. When asked which programs advisors are considering, almost twice as many respondents cited DPL as any of its nearest competitors. Survey authors remarked, “the market share leaders are also the most likely to gain market share in the future.”
